This course prepares nurses for the role of precepting nursing students. Professional development for both novice and experienced preceptors is enhanced by instilling competencies necessary for effective clinical education and nurturing greater fulfillment in the preceptor role. Each facet offers innovative instructional activities relevant to nurses-turned-clinical-preceptor. Essential resources provide integral support for real-world experiences.
